PU Concrete Flooring
(PU) Concrete Flooring
PU or Polyurethane products is a demanding industrial environments, PU technology is the original polyurethane flooring solution that provides a powerful layer of protection for both new and existing concrete surface. urethane modified concrete, Urethane cement floorings, PU concrete, Poly Urethane Concrete and Urethane concrete or simply, PU-concrete. The chemistry is the combination of cement and waterborne urethane. The Polyurethane concrete composition has a similar elasticity as like concrete.
It is essential that surface should be sound, clean and dry surfaces in order that maximum bond strength between the substrate and the flooring system. All dust and debris should be removed prior to application of the product. All cracks, crevices and undulations shall be filled with epoxy based mortar.
Epoxy polyurethane coating is supplied in pre-weighed packs ready to use on site. Solvent or thinners should not beaded. A forced action mixer with a paddle fitted into a heavy duty, slow speed electric hand drill is recommended for mixing. Hardener component is mixed with Base resin in a suitable mixing vessel. The full cooler paste is then added and mixed until an even color is obtained. Finally the filler as supplied is added and mixed further for

The material is poured onto the primed substrate and spread to the required thickness with a steel trowel. Alternatively, a serrated trowel can be used. The resin floor should not be overworked but spread slowly and evenly. Immediately after spreading, the floor should be firmly rolled with a spiked roller to help release any entrapped air in the material and level any slight trowel marks. The floor should now self-smooth to an even colored dense, impervious floor.
Primer coat on the naked surface as a bonding coat and proper drying time should be given to carry out the Epoxy
Facilities is using PU Flooring :
Long lasting: Ucrete flooring excellent impact and wear resistance. 20 years more Ucrete floors in aggressive environments are still in service.
Rapid application Rapid curing:
At low temperatures. Only 5 hours at 10⁰c making it ideally suited for refurbishment work.
Dryness tolerant: It can be installed onto 10 day old concrete without the need for special primers,
Thermal shock resistance: withstands spillages up to 150 °C depending upon specification.
Hygiene: As follow standard as like stainless steel and does not support biological growth, so always helping to maintain hygiene standards.
Resistance for Chemical: Strong acids to alkalis, fats, oils and solvents which can rapidly degrade other types of resin flooring.
Safe & Clean: Your products and the environment. Certified with the Euro fins Indoor Air Comfort Gold standard for low emissions.
